My Favorite!!!

Brady and I were in the car today when a Jewel song came on the radio. With absolutely no prompting from me Brady exclaimed, “Mommy, its Jewel! I love her! My favorite!” I was over the moon! We gave each other a high-five and then sat back and enjoyed Foolish Games. It’s a fabulous day to be a mom!

Pig Skin on Turkey Day

This post is a bit belated. Tony participated in the annual tackle football game with the guys Thanksgiving. He didn’t come out of the game unscathed. He jammed his left ring finger, or so he claims. It was obviously an excuse to go out and about devoid of his wedding ring. That’s right lover; I’m onto you! The immense swelling and bruising was almost convincing;)

Totally Tubular

Tony and I attended an 80's themed party last night. It was... awesome. radical. bodacious. chill. gnarly. phat. wicked. Now excuse me while I go gag myself with a spoon. Psych!

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care…

In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.


Alex and Brady assisted in decorating the tree. It is a well known fact that often times Brady is a hindrance even when he has the best of intentions. He kept taking the hooks out of the ornaments and Alex was getting frustrated. The following conversation took place after Alex’s patience hit a breaking point.
“Do you have a brain?!” Alex blurted out.
“No!” Brady was quick to respond; he then paused to think and then matter-of-factly stated, “I’ll go find it!” He then sauntered out of the room in pursuit for his organ of intellect.
My kids are awesome!


Oh, in case you were wondering… Brady never found his brain. When I asked him what happened to it he simply said, “The garbage man took it.”
