***Props to Katrina for coming up with the clever title of this post while I was divulging this anecdote at the family dinner Sunday. Yeah, I’m a classy broad, I tell potty stories at the table, I’m sure my Dad is proud.***
"One day it will vanish, how you felt when you were overwhelmed... One day there'll be almost nothing except what you've written down" -Stephen Dunn, The Vanishings

Yep, that's my messy boy with shaggy hair:)
Brady has been a ginormous mama's boy lately. He is always wanting hugs and is convinced that a kiss from mom makes any owie better. I really should relish this era, before I know it all the magic will be lost in mommy's touch and he will be pretending like he doesn't know me.
It took Brady 3 tries to blow out the candle... I suppose that is fitting for the occasion.
It’s true, this was bound to happen. I am a grown up after all. I am married, I have two kids, I have a full time job with benefits… and *gulp* I am now turning 25! The logical part of me recognizes that 25 isn’t old… but the illogical part of me is having an arduous time coping with the concept of being a quarter of a century. In honor of this seemingly trivial occasion I decided to compose a poem. As a disclaimer, please keep in mind that my poetry can be a bit off kilter, especially when I am the subject matter. I don’t expect the masses to understand or appreciate my poetic ramblings, I am just another misunderstood artist that uses words as my medium. Without further ado, I present my creation in all its random glory.

First off I'd like to thank all those that came out to the track to watch me and support me in something I feel very passionate about, racing motorcycles.
