Eat me! I'm a turkey!

Check out the adorable turkey cupcakes the kiddos decorated! (Thanks Heidi!) Brady couldn't wait to devour his.

Gorgeous Alex.

This is my most excellent and twisted father. He is a handsome devil!

Yep, the two small girls in the picture are my sisters. You know you're a Utahan when there is a 20 plus year age difference between siblings.

Isn't my sister HOT?! She is also awesome beyond belief.

We spent Thanksgiving with my side of the family this year and had a blast... until Brady had a meltdown. It is so fabulous to have my dad, Sandra, Hailey and Sophie back in the same state.

I'm thankful for...

...my quirky kids and bad-ass husband...
...my family in general, both sides, all of you...
...and so much more...

Happy Thanksgiving to all and remember... don't eat your friends:)

When the girls are away the boys will play...

Tony and Brady had a "Man Day" and went to the Hill Aerospace Museum while Alex and I were at Twilight. Brady was fascinated with the planes and couldn't stop jabbering about how big and cool they were. I sure do love my guys.

Twilight

I’ll keep my review short and sweet. I went into the movie with little expectations, but was excited beyond belief. Seeing as I went with a fever says something. I knew there was no way it would be near as magnificent as the book. A lot of things that should have been in the movie were left out. If you had not read the book you would have been lost and not understood the characters. The acting was somewhat cheesy at moments. I should be contacted to write the screenplay for the next movie. Overall I actually liked it. I would see it again. But I would rather read the book. The end.

Our Blood Runs Red

I know what you are thinking. That "U" looks a little to the right. I blame the camera angle. If you were to view it in person you would clearly see that it is very much to the right. In my defense I am on cold medicine and running off of 3 hours of sleep. Tony was well aware of this prior to pleading with me and placing the clippers in my lethargic drugged hands. Nonetheless, he is going to leave it there until after the game Saturday. He is a good sport.

This is just a silly pic. It has absolutely nothing to do with the above mentioned subject matter. I couldn't have the entire post be about football and a crazy fan that shaved a letter into his head.

Some Mad Hope

Katie and I had a girls night out Saturday and went to the Matt Nathanson concert. I had heard only good things about his shows, but my expectations were more than exceeded. The uber talented singer/songwriter had us both swooning. There is just something so sexy about a soulful witty musician. Luckily I have an understanding husband that just laughs at my celebrity crush.

Here is a pic of us before the show. By the end of the concert we were ready to become groupies! We're already highly anticipating the next time he is in town.

All you need is love

As Brady told me yesterday morning, "God loves everyone!" Let us learn from the innocence of our little ones and the pure love they radiate.

We do not discriminate. Everyone deserves equality.

"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us and the world will live as one."
-John Lennon

As promised

Here is Alex with her friends on Halloween.

I know, I know, she looks way too mature.

Shark Attack!!!

Isn't Brady the most endearing shark ever?! I hope these images don't evoke too much panic in Katrina. Perhaps observing her adorable nephew as a shark will facilitate her recovery of her lifelong struggle with galeophobia (excessive and persistent fear of sharks).

I don't have a pic of Alex's costume. Initially she was going to go as a shark attack victim. That would have been awesome!!! However, in the end she decided on being a sassy devil. I know, I know, SO very fitting! LOL. We love you Alex:) She got ready with her friends and I didn't even see her all glammed out last night. She should be giving me photos shortly and I will be sure to post them.

Here are our fabulous pumpkins. We put pumpkin tattoos on them because I was being lazy and didn’t want to deal with the hassle and mess of carving them. I waited in line to purchase these gems for 20 minutes with a whining three year old because the lady in front of me was attempting to haggle over the price of a box of Multi-Grain Cheerios. She was willing to pay "2 penny less!!!" When the cashier professionally explained that they don't lower prices like that, the woman blew up and demanded to speak with a manager. Long story short, after a lengthy argument with the supervisor in broken English the woman decided against buying the cereal because the store refused to lower the price by 2 cents. Sheesh! Some people!

***Please note that this woman didn't look poor and had a lot of extra cash and change on her. I clearly saw she had much more than 2 more pennies left when she paid for everything else she bought. Had I thought her hungry children needed the food I would have happily offered to give her two cents.

Tony and I even got in on the dress up action this year. We were a classic duo, cop and robber.
